Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Fermented Idli Batter
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Pieces
  • 1/4 cup Onion
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 2 Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder
  • Pinch of Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • Salt to taste

    Preparations

    1. Wash & clean the chicken with a pinch of turmeric & mince in a food processor.
    2. Mix the paste of ginger,garlic & green chilli.
    3. Heat the oil in a pan & add cumin seeds,red chilli,turmeric & black pepper & saute it for a minute.
    4. Add ginger,garlic & chilli paste.
    5. Add chopped onion & saute till it becomes the translucent.
    6. Add minced chicken & saute till the moisture in the chicken comes out.
    7. Add enough water to cook the chicken & cover the pan with lid.
    8. Grease the idli stand with oil & pour the 1 tablespoon of batter.
    9. Keep 1 tbsp of chicken masala on batter.
    10. Pour the another tbsp of batter to cover the chicken masala.
    11. Steam the idli & remove carefully from idli plates.

    Serving Size

    1 cup Chicken Stuffed Idli
