Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Fermented Idli Batter
- 1/4 cup Chicken Pieces
- 1/4 cup Onion
- 1 tsp Ginger paste
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 2 Green Chilli
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1/4 tsp Pepper Powder
- 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder
- Pinch of Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Oil
- Salt to taste
Preparations
- Wash & clean the chicken with a pinch of turmeric & mince in a food processor.
- Mix the paste of ginger,garlic & green chilli.
- Heat the oil in a pan & add cumin seeds,red chilli,turmeric & black pepper & saute it for a minute.
- Add ginger,garlic & chilli paste.
- Add chopped onion & saute till it becomes the translucent.
- Add minced chicken & saute till the moisture in the chicken comes out.
- Add enough water to cook the chicken & cover the pan with lid.
- Grease the idli stand with oil & pour the 1 tablespoon of batter.
- Keep 1 tbsp of chicken masala on batter.
- Pour the another tbsp of batter to cover the chicken masala.
- Steam the idli & remove carefully from idli plates.
